Power seats/lumbar support

I'm considering moving up to a 997 S Cab and one of the cars in which I am interested does not have the power seat package.
How important is the power seat/lumbar package for comfort and for resale?
Also, is the full leather interior a positibve factor when it comes to resale, and are standard seats a deterrent?

Yes, full leather interior surely add a better value for a luxury sport car. Some members here actually like Porsche's manaul adjust seat more and is good enough and save a lot of weight and dollars.

I agree that full leather is required.

Coming from a lot of other cars that don't have as comfortable seats, I tested and thought the assisted power seats would be better. They are great seats and really hug my shoulders, but after driving a few other Porsches for extended test drives - I would get the standard sports seats, and will on my next car, they are super comfortable, light, and easy to adjust.

So, I don't think either seat is a make or break option. You'll be happy with either.

I got the power seat just so that I can have the reverse tilt passenger mirror feature. I don't want to curb my rims when I have to parallel park.

How do the standard seats feel without lumbar support?

The best seats Porsche offers are the manual Sports seats. I assume, of course, you fit in them.

Yes, that's fair to assume. But the car I'm looking at has standard seats with full leather interior, but not the power seat/memory package.

I prefer manual seats.

I have the power seats, just for the lumbar support. They are so comfortable I have not had to adjust them since the first day I sat in the car, and never any lower back pain no mater how long I drive for, (unlike my BMW 530, which I can never drive for more than one hour even with a lumbar support pillow)

I had a lower back injury and long trips hurt my back. My 997.2 has the power seats and the lumbar helps a LOT. Most comfortable car seat I've ever driven in.
