I drive in Sport Mode, how about you?
I have my car for 80 miles now. Still has plenty to explore. Here is the way I drive so far. I start the car in Normal mode, once rolling I switch to Sport Mode right away. Regular mode could not satisfy me, I feel the car heavy and sluggish. But once in Sport Mode, wow, it flies. Haven't tried the Sport Plus yet.
Straightly PDK (automatic), tried the paddle but don't know how to come back to auto mode.
Have to do some P ready first.
How about you? Would you mind to share your driving pattern?

If you are in D mode and use the buttons, the car will be in manual mode, in the gear you selected, for a period of 8 sec. After 8 sec if you do not shift again it will revert to auto mode. Paddles in D more are for a temporary correction. If you want to be permanently in manual mode engage M.
BTW... it's all in the Owners Manual.
P.S. - On the street/road I do often switch to SC Sport, but turn off Sport PASM, unless the road surface is perfect. This is the so-called Schumacher mode.
Sport mode does not literally make the car faster. Sport mode remaps the throttle so the response is more touchy. It really does make a huge difference though! I leave my sport mode on all the time just because it opens the valves on my PSE exhaust and I love the noise vs. barely being able to hear it w/sport mode on.
Sport mode goes on once my car is at normal oil op temp. Did not use it until car was broken in though as the revs peak fairly quickly in first gear and it's easy to get above the break in rev max suggestion in the book. Even now, when in sport mode, I tend to hit limiter in first more often than I'd like to admit. Can't do over rev damage going up, assuming oil temp is up, but still a little disturbing when the limiter kicks in.
Sport mode makes the car reacts faster, I think react faster mean faster car. A push of button make you feel you are driving a different car.

I use manual mode set to sport most of the time . I switched the buttons to the paddles and find it comfortable.
Normal mode is awful --except when warming up the car or gridlock traffic . Sport mode in the city is somewhat agressive downshifting to 1st and on the highway will not remain in 7th gear using gas at 55 MPH.
