Maybe it's just me... but that car looks ugly. It looks somewhat mean I guess but without refinement and class.

doesn't look terribly different to my eye. Biggest change seems to be the side-view mirrors, which I like (old school 911 style).

Only makes you wonder if the front and rear fascia changes will still allow swaps all the way back to the 997.1...

996 to 997 was almost a facelift....

porsche has been doing this for the past 30-40 years..... 911 -> 930 -> 964 -> 993 has been the same

didn't the 997.2 only come out in 2009?

a March premier date for the 991 or 997.3 (whatever you want to call it) seems very aggressive... even if it is only a facelift

it wouldn’t be a Porsche if floormats come in standard. I think the steering wheel might become an option consider the lost in revenue last year

I agree, but I doubt it's really new body work. Looks more like a mule to me, but I suppose you never can tell, which is the point of using mules part of the time. I saw that same vehicle in a video with the passenger taking a picture of the spy photographer. Made me wonder if he was just wanting a souvenir himself or if they try to keep track of those auto-paparazzi.

The indicator comment is kind of odd. All of ours are LED already. Except possibly the little yellow side-marker which flashes along with the indicators on U.S. models. I suppose that might be an incandescent bulb, but it isn't worth pulling the cover to check. All the rest are certainly LED bulbs.

Just know I'm glad we got ours already if the next facelift looks even slightly like that car. Good word, 'ugly', Hella-Buggin.
