Turbo OEM Wheels for my C4S - Help

I am looking at a set of OEM 997 turbo wheels. The seller gave me the part numbers and when I checked with porsche, it seems that porsche has two types of offsets for these rims. the fronts seem to be the right but the rears have two different types. Fronts are 19"x8" ET57 part #99736215602. Rears are 19"x11" ET67 part #99736216209.

Porsche says the part i need for my car for the Rears is ET51.

Anyone have any idea if this will fit my 997 C4S?? Or what the offset difference would be?

Danny

Your c4s is the same body as my 07 turbo. My wheels are front et 57 and the rears are et 51. I believe the et 67 wheels are for the narrow bodied cars.

You need offset ET51 for your widebody C4S. Otherwise I believe you can use a 17mm spacer with the ET67 offset.

Thanks for the replies,

I found out that the wheels came off of a 2008 C2S, so that explains why they are for the the narrow body.

Am i compromising anything with getting the spacers?

I'm selling my turbo wheels off of my widebody '07 C4S. Recently bought new HRE wheels. So, if you or anyone are interested please contact me.
Thanks,
Bob

If I were you, I would spend the time to find the right wheels so that you don't have to use spacers. I used to think spacers were bad, but if Porsche thinks they're good enough for the GT3RS, they're good enough for me.

I have heard that spacers will exacerbate any driveline vibrations that may be present, especially if spacers are used on the front.

Sorry, but i don't understand your post. Are you for or against wheels with spacers?

I'm for getting the appropriate wheels if possible (which it seems is possible for you if you have the patience). But in the event that one cannot obtain the right offsets, spacers aren't so bad.

Basically my thought is to avoid spacers whenever possible.
