nice job on the video - I can listen to that flat six all day. as far as the exhaust movement is concerned, it's totally normal. Take a look at this M3 exhaust video and you'll see the same thing.

What's interesting about the M3 is that the exhaust pipes extend as much as half an inch once they reach operating temp (at least I know a few of the aftermarket systems do).

To the OP: engines are mounted on soft engine mounts which are squeezed and give with the torsional forces of the engine. When the engine moves (slightly) every item attached to the engine, including exhausts, move too.
Your white smoke is an indication that you have stopped suddenly your engine the evening before... try to let the car idle for a couple of minutes before shutting it off, especially if you just came from a spirited drive.

Thanks for the heads up.

Bruce,
awesome job. I am impressed about the video image sharpness.
What kind of camera did you use ?
In addition, which video software do you use ?
I have the impression this could become a new hobby for me.

I've a few more listed under "BruceinCary" on YouTube, enjoy.
There is movement in everything. It's engineered, intentionally. The top of modern skyscrapers are designed to sway absurd distances, just like the wings of a large airplane have flex. Branches of a tree, etc.
If there weren't flex in the exhaust, there'd be fissures elsewhere.
