Question My Blackberry seems to reboot the PCM

I have a 2009 C4S and a blackberry. Often when the phone is searching for a bluetooth connection with car, it forces a reboot. I get the white screen with the Porsche emblem. When the reboot occurs, often the radio station has changed. AM to FM etc. Any one experience the same? Fixes. I have already updated the software twice.

I have a 2009 C2S and have experienced the same PCM reboot problem. In my situation, it happens regardless of the mode/source and has nothing to do with the bluetooth. I'm waiting for my second PCM replacement.

I thing there is a Fix for that - last time I was in service (Feb) they updated my PCM for some "reboot" issue that I have never had - but they did the update anyway.

You have a broken PCM unit... I had this problem with my C4S at around 2K miles, once the dealer replaced it, I no longer have the problem.

I use BB on a PCM 3, pretty much everyday, and never had an issue. I hope they replace yours for an unit that works

It has happened to me a couple of times but I thought it was related to my iPod nano.

Could be - I looked at my invoice:

J#2 52P0Z03 Sound System WARRANTY
WA24
Completed.

...whatever WA24 is - supposed to stop some PCM rebooing issue (that I experienced).
