Classic 2009 997S Modified @ SharkWerks

This black 2009 997S came into us for a quick make-over. Just like on our car, we opted for the TechArt lowering spring kit...

In go the front springs.

Followed by the rear:

For a subtle bump in sound we also installed the SharkWerks exhaust:

There she is with the lowered stance off for a test-drive:

And as far as lightweight wheels go, the simple and classic Champion RS184 wheels were chosen:

Ready to go home...

Nothing like some nice light one piece wheels to freshen up a car. Handling, braking accelleration and looks all in one. And some springs to boot. Great setup.

We've had really good results with the PASM cars and this set up. We ran them on our car here:

Car looks perfect with that drop and those wheels really make the car maintain such a classic profile. Great work.

I went to your link and read where you said you would not install H&R springs on a 997. How are they different from the Techart Springs. Why would you not install them.
I couldnt find where you commented on the Ride Quality. Do they make the ride a lot bumpier? Thanks, ... sorry for all the questions

I'm sure Alex will chime in here but as I recollect, they have had problems with the H&R's sagging over time. I went with TechArt springs specifically because of Sharkwerks comment on this matter.

Hmm that does look like a leak. I should take it by the dealer to have them check it out
