The smile after that makes me fairly certain that you are joking, but for those not familiar with the 997, the sport/chrono is more than the clock in the dash, there are other posts and you should search this forum.

That is what they should be selling for new fully loaded. If not even cheaper, what the hell was porsche thinking with the pricing of the S.

no brainer? try going to the dealer and see how many Cayenne and Cayenne S they have in stock without Xenon lights. Now that's a no brainer option.

I am shocked to see porsche enthusiast that don't know the function on the "sports chrono package". It is not just a stopwatch. The stopwatch is the only visual sign that the car has the sports chro pkge. You get a remapping of your computer which further increases the threshhold of aggressive driving before PSM intervenes, it also enhances throttle response for quicker acceleration and automatically activates the sport mode of the PASM. Just think, at the push of one button your car is transformed into a track car, all for about a grand. Remember, Porsche claimed that "sport mode" slashed five seconds from a 997's lap on the Nurburgring. Those of you who don't have it are really missing out..... not to mention it is one of the cheapest factory installed options.

That car is being sold as 'used' meaning it's been titled once already. Not a typical dealer show car, then sold to first buyer. Doubt the first buyer bailed on it in a week. A bit suspicious to me.

But if it's clean, a helluva buy for someone who wants that first year model.
