TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!!!! The VF Supercharger transformation begins……
Forgot to mention that Vinnies initial Gtech 286 RWHP was with HEAVY 20" wheels.........and he has C4S...
I think the guy has a very strong car here OR the wheel weights done mean Sh$t!

He weighed it and we weighed me before getting in!
I sent him outside to clean the insides of the wheels.
I can't BELIEVE people let their cars get this dirty in the hard to clean areas!!!
But I think I have rubbed off on him...He has been using my cleaning brush and rags to wipe away.......
Stacy
That's what happens to cars that get driven Stacy they get dirty!
I'm not gonna lie its hard not to want to clean your car after seeing Stacy's car it is freakishly clean, I honestly can say I've never seen such a clean used car before, wait a minute it hasn't been used. lol
But seriously we all joke about his car you should see his house it's even cleaner, actually being here has really concreted my confidence in Stacy's
install abilities if he installs this SC with even half the care he puts into his own stuff, I'll be in great hands.
BTW engine mounts are in, the Wevo's must be half the weight of factory ones, considering all the stuff Stacy has he doesn't have scale to get exact numbers.
Ed - I told Stacy he could take in the rain but I get a Stacy style detail in return. I don't think he has it in him to take any p-car in the rain he'll start panicking.
Ed - I will definitely be driving tonnes, I may even try her out on the track this year, I got my first taste last year it was alot of fun.
Ken - I was lucky to even get in his garage with my shoes on let alone a dirty car. Stacy's rubbing off on me I've already done the calipers.
All the work on the outside of the blower doesn't bother me it's all the dust you old guys leave behind on the inside that does!
Everything seems to be going great, I feel like a sponge absorbing everything that's going on.
It's time to throw in the towel for the night, Stacy's got tickets for us to the local ballet

I am not sure that your car will not be used by Stacy to drive in the rain. He has told me that he has always wanted to try, but doesn't want to try his car. BTW ask Stacy to wax your calipers while he has it!
You are in good hands, Stacy has this whole install thing figured out.

Vinnie: Unfortunately for you, I too made love to that same blower when I first got it. And I have no idea what Stacy did to it when he got it from me, except I know it is a lot shinier now.
I'm glad you took your car to Stacy's after washing it, as he doesn't allow dirty cars in his garage. You'll likely get it back with waxed rotors.

Please do take it to the track, Stacy doesn't have a set of B A L L S, so his won't make it there.
I think a Stacy detail will take you until mid summer, just accept it with a little rain on it.

Here are the some more pics from yesterday.........
Vinnies car torn apart.......

Wevo engine mounts installed....
These are about half the weight of the OEM and a lot stiffer than the stock mounts.

Here is the pic as the doors in the garage closed.....

THis is why we didn't get the charger on yesterday......
Had to take a good long look at this...2009.
A fellow/friend that I use to work with stopped by with this gem.What a beautiful rid......Congrats Stu(wa2fast)

We could start anytime, BUT....whenever I go over to Stacys I get stuck waxing the calipers, and looking for dirty spots on his car!
BTW....Stacys' car is even cleaner that it looks in the photos. This is the ONLY black car I've ever seen with NO paint "swirl / scratch" marks from day to day washing & care.
Cattman....where were you! We were all waiting for you to show up so we could start the install.

Stacy: with that big gun camera of yours, I'm surprised you can't do better. Here are 2 of those dark photos lightened up to see them better. By the way, when you say the new motor mounts are lighter, how much weight savings are you talking about?
PS, nice tool box!

What is involved in installing motor mounts, and why do you think you need them?
Had I known a couple of weeks ago, I'd be there to help bang it out! But JEllis may be buying an SC, and if he does, I may fly to San Diego to help him do his installation.

You know better.......like I promise I will buy a hoist and GET that dirty spot with the pressure washer!
Well after a long nite of drinks at the pub and 'Ballet'......we managed to get a 11 am start........10 hrs total so far(the only thing I let Vinnie do was remove the under-trays),he wanted to do more BUT I am too much of a control FREAK.......
NOW we are waiting on the DME re-program and the guy to wire the IC pump...

Maybe another 5 hours to re-assemble the car....

After I heard about the supercharger rubbing issue I actually thought that doing different motor mounts might help. Are these actually part of a engine lowering kit or are they just stiffer. I believe you can actually buy a kit to lower the engine. Not sure where I saw it but I know it exists.
