Sharkwerks & Cargraphic Cold Start
Sharkwerks & Cargraphic Cold Start
At long last, I have a moment to offer specific feedback and a vid on the Cargraphic side mufflers and Sharkwerks center bypass on my 997.2S.
I've had this setup on for a little over 500 miles now (aggressive driving), so the sound has settled about as good as it's going to get.
Well...let's start with the vid:

As I said, this is just about cold start sound. What more can I say...the vid tells the whole story. It's beautiful and rewarding.
Thanks to Alex at Sharkwerks for the icing on the cake with the bypass. I did have the Cargraphics on first and they were just not enough. Thanks to Justin at Rennsport-1 for hooking me up with the Cargraphics and helping me through that decision as each side muffler solution is different from the other.
Next I'll post a vid on the sound in action along with feedback. In short, I have a sharper throttle, deeper sound, and a definite enhancement on the butt dyno.

hey taylorcoleman our pleasure and glad you paired it up like that! Been a while since I'd heard ours along with the cargraphic set up (we usually do the Tubi which also sounds good). This set up sounds throatier which I like!
All -- as in my turbo wing thread -- I'm considering brining my car back to stock (mostly) before I sell it.
Exhaust is a very personal choice. I think the Cargraphic sides and Sharkwerks center bypass sound the best on the 997.2 - but I like an aggressive sound. This has been my DD and even with the aggressive sound anything under 3k rpm is modest and there is no drone at all.
Anyhow -- I'm not sure if I'll part out my car. PM me if you're interested in my setup -- this is not a formal FS thread and you can also just ask me other questions about my thoughts on aftermarket exhaust.

It sounds good but a cold start is very misleading - all 997.2's sound artifically good on cold start. I would really like to hear your set-up after it has warmed up. Any chance you can do a video of that?

You'll love it! My recommendation on the 997.2 if you're not sure is to first get the Sharkwerks bypass. If that's not aggressive enough, get the Cargraphic sides.
