in OC theres a shop called Mesa Muffler, can't speak to their reputation but the gentlemen there seem well-informed and know their stuff...

I just got a set of mufflers for my 997.1 that I'm going to have my neighbor weld the 2" pipe. I'll let you know how it goes. I just need to find some time to get them down in NJ.
