Question on the Esthetics of a Badge Change

I was thinking of changing the stock silver Carerra S logo on my WHITE vehicle to 911 S. I was thinking about using a silver or white 911 and a red S. Any thoughts or pics how it would look or any other suggestions.
Thanks for the input.

white with the red S would be nice. also, black with the red S. I would not do silver but that is just me maybe.

I also have a 997S in white and I have the Carerra in black and the S in Red and it looks good. But if you like the 911 I would go with it black and the S in Red.

The 911 S designation has not been used by the factory since the '70s. Why fake it?

I just ordered the parts for this on my white 997S as well, will post pics once installed. Black "Carrrera" from Suncoast, Red "S" from eBay.

I would use it because I like the way 911 looks better than carerra.

Agreed - as long as the owner likes it -- whatever goes AFAIC.

I just got a Red "S" form Eric @ bumper plugs for my Aqua Blue Cab.

As soon as I figure out a way to ensure I can put this in the same exact location as the original, I will be putting it on.

I think the Red S next to the stock "Carerra" on Aqua Blue will be perfect!

I plan on making some kind of template this weekend.

Just put 4 pieces of painters tape lined up with the edges of the original "S" and then you should be good to go.

You asked about esthetics... My answer reflects the Porsche fan view that defacing a car is not proper. It's a widely held opinion, but of course you are free to do as you wish.

I see no difference in changing the badge as I do with moding anything else on or in the car. By what you said, those should be improper too. At the end of the day...its just a car.

personally, i would just put '911' in black for a white Pcar

both simple and patriotic

if u must put the 'S', i would do it in same color as the '911'

after all we already drive the S version.. i don't think we need to emphasize it too much.. just my 2 cents

BTW i will prob change mine later.. but for now, i just put on this license plate frame
