Tire Pressure on a C4S

I have done a search and I have seen lots of posts on this. I have seen that most say 34 front and 39 rear, but I assume that is for C2 RWD. Does the increased load on the front require more pressure? I set my cold pressure for the spring at 36/39, but I have not driven the car yet. The door sticker says 37/44, but that seems too high.

Thoughts?

ervjohns...cold tire pressure for 05-08 is 1psi lower than 2009-10 models for some reason. The much higher psi rating you see on the door jamb sticker is for 4 people and luggage. You will lose grip witht he higher setting with just you and/or a passenger n the car. Stick with 34/40 at most cold pressure.

There is a full page in your owners manual all about this.

Actually, id did check the manual and mine says 34/37 for lightly loaded car with 19"" tires, and I usually drive alone, so I will probably use that. As you say, 37/44 is for a fully loaded car.
