Hi everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Steve, I'm Evan's (AMG ETR) uncle. Just registered today. I currently own an '89 Carrera 3.2 that I use for weekends and PCA events. I have a speed yellow Carrera S ordered with an April build scheduled. I've just moved to the Dallas area and am looking to get involved with the local PCA region (Maverick). The '89 is Hunter Green and has been substantially modified by Andial with all the tricks. If any of you can recommend a noteworthy service establishment in the Dallas area please let me know. Dieter and the boys at Andial have spoiled me for the last 10 years and I'm hoping to find a good place to have my baby serviced somewhere close to my new digs. I look forward to meeting you all and learning what I can about the "S" before it gets here. And, oh by the way, the dealers in the Dallas area are getting sticker for the "S" as well. I spent Christmas with Evan in Florida and visited the local dealer and as Evan said they can't keep a Carrera S on the lot.

 

WOW, that is one spankin' clean 3.2!! I like the way the wheels are even lined up so the crests are straight (that wasn't p-shop, was it?).

I have heard that there is a 6 month back order on S's ordered today. Anyone else heard this?

Glad you were able to get posting . I was in the office today and guess what I saw . That rear spoiler you like for the 997 sitting on the shelf . Just say the word

Anyway, yea guys, he is a die hard Porsche fanatic and the 3.2 above is VERY nice. I saw it about 2 1/2 years ago (maybe more?) when it wasn't totally done and it was still awesome!!

PS-Yea thats what I said Steve, I would check out RUF USA and see if they work on that model... I would assume they do, but since they are new, they may not be doing service work and only doing RUF upgrades??

BTW, someone asked about Carrera S back-orders. I gave the dealer my deposit a month ago and I got an April build for it. He said delivery would be late May or early June.
