Finally pics of my 1 week old 07' 911 C4S with Pioneer Avic-Z110BT Lots of Pics!
I see, so you didn't have nav, bluetooth & ipod as options originally (I think perhaps ipod was maybe not an option in '07). So your primary goal was to have those 3 options, not necessarily to improve the stereo sound -- is that right?
I think the unit looks excellent in the car -- congrats!

I did have Nav but it was pretty horrible when i played around with it.
It did not have ipod integration which if i'm not mistaken i could have added with the Dension Ice Link and it didn't have Bluetooth.
Honestly the main reason i changed my head unit was to have a great nav, ipod, bluetooth experience as well as all the extra tech goodies that come with it.
And after hearing that it improved the sound as well it was a no brainer.
Sound wasn't very good to begin with but now it's slightly better i would say. I'm coming from a 2010 S5 that had the Bang & Olufsen sound system which was one amazing sound system...
All in all i'm very happy that i did this and wouldn't even hesitate about doing it again.
Thanks for the compliments
Congrats !
the cab is beautiful !
the new head unit looks great, also.
i've thought about replacing the PCM as well.. but decided against it for several reasons.
glad u r happy with urs, tho.

Wanted to share some pictures of my sound system. Kenwood 8120 with real-time Garmin navigation, I-pod, XM, cd, USB connector, am/fm, bluetooth, hands-free phone, text msg, stock reports, alpine amp, and 8 Focal speakers. Sounds much better than the Bose system it replaced and it looks stock.

Wow, the Pioneer and Kenwood systems seem both highly functional and seamlessly integrated. Hardly any reason not to purchase. Now I just have to find a good installer in the Boston area. Any recommendations?
Yes i did get the faceplate from ebay.
Seller is EuroMotorspeed.

Yours looks great as well

It's just something i had to do... Very happy though.
Speakers are run through the Pioneer head unit amp and the Bose sub is running through the stock amp.
