I was talking with my lady tonight and we were talking about the upcoming cars and coffee this Saturday. She asked if I wanted her to have the Lambo detailed for it and I really had to think about it and then I said no I think I'll take the Porsche. She said really? Do you like it better? The more and more I think about it, I absolutely do like it better. Its as fast up to about 100, handles better, much nicer inside, I can enjoy it with my whole family, and I don't get chased by the honda civic paparazzi. It really is all the car that I need and its the best all around car I've ever owned. So Its official I'm a Porsche guy, and I think I'll be a lifer.

so no real reason to get ride of it but it just does not bring the same joy to me as driving the Porsche. It feels old school

with all the other exotic cars and a lambo rep came over to my car and commented on the fact that I must have had a long drive because it was dirty. I said it was dirty because I would rather drive than wash my car. He sent someone over to hand wash it and take away all of my street cred.

Well, glad to hear that you are (or have been) driving it! I am sure that it is an awesome ride. I didn't realize that a dirty car = street cred, my car must have a lot

 

Interesting opinion. I've driven Gallardos in the past, and the sound and raw feeling is incredible. Having a shrieking V10 inches behind your head is awesome (especially with a LOC exhaust). Makes my 911, even with the mods I've done, feel, look and sound so pedestrian. I'd love to have a G in my garage.

Although, I could see the G not being as easy to live with as the 911 due to the attention it garners, not wanting to leave it in a parking lot, the low front, bad rear visibility, cramped interior space, etc...

But I'd still love one.
