Anyone looking for 18" Michelin Pilot Sport PS2? What would you do?

I'm in a dilemma.

Bought my '09 997 this past winter. Came with 18"s, so i mounted them with snow tires before taking delivery. I'd like to purchase a set of 19" tires/wheels for the summer and have no use for the 18" Pilot Sport PS2s. Alternately, I can get a separate set of 18" wheels and mount the Pilot Sports, but feel it's a waste to have 2 sets of 18" wheels. It would save money, but love the 19" look. Would prefer not to swap the winter/summer tires on the 18" every season.

Don't have enough posts to put in classifieds (working on that)...

Appreciate any constructive advice.

cheers,
wolf

Mount the PS2's on the 18's, run them for the summer, when worn out get new 19" whatevers, and remount the snows on the 18's - if you drive very much / very spirited, you'll use up the PS2's before snow flies...

are you on the ducatispot forums?

Did the Keith Code 2-day school at Infineon - that was a blast. Finally got my knee down.

Also rode NHIS, but that track is terrible!

Lots of guys here could probably use the PS2's. Why not sell them here?

Let me know if I can help you with a 19" set.

From what I've seen, 18" PS's are an improvement to the suspensions compliance (summer), so I'd pull the winter tires off and run the summer tires that way before going out and spending money on 19" wheels and tires. You may very well find yourself buying another set of 18" wheels. You can get some really light wheels in 18".
