To achieve faster shifts than PDK, you won't just need short shifter kit, unfortunately (i was REALLY kidding, ya know..)
Besides Redbulls cans, you need this special spring loaded leg (all made in lightweight carbon fiber)

Yeah, it's a bit expensive.
But damn! it controls the clutch so fast! It's unbelievable.

Surgeon sponsors will make the mod for less than 5k (6speed pricing) and it's not THAT painful. Full recovery within 18 months garanteed.
At least 50 pounds less compared to stock leg (men) and 20 pounds (women).

Expect 45ms shifts.

Soon: carbon fiber arm + FORGED hand, for an even quicker shift time! Release expected end of '10 and beginning '11 for UK (left arm).

Oh my...I can;t believe you posted a pic of a C-Leg....this is tooo funny because this is the EXACT leg I have. I am a left leg amputee and C-Leg wearer...I'll post a pic later...I have a nice Porsche badge on my C-Leg.

In the context of pulling off a 50 millisecond shift with a short-shift kit, to quote the famous philosopher Bugs Bunny, "You realize of course that I can only do this once!". After ripping the shifter hard enough to do it, there'll be a long row of engine/transmission parts trailing behind the car.
Oh well (and please don't ban me for quoting BB).
