Both cars being white and 2008's

About $250 month difference in the note for the TT

C4S with aerokit, 6 speed. 5k miles. Stickered at $102k
997TT, tip, 39k miles. Stickered at $150k

Which would you prefer

What are you using it for? Track? DD?

My choice would be a 997.1GT3, most likely in the middle of the two in price.

If you have the $ I would do a TT before a C4S, but I prefer the RWD models myself.

A very good friend recently got rid of his 997 C4S for 997TT. Took a huge loss in $, but he says it was worth it.

Too many miles on the TT for my liking, but otherwise sounds great!

Not enough info. Year/options of both.

Given all things equal I woild take the Turbo over the C4S but would not pick a Tiptronic with 39K miles. Thus.. more $$ is needed to get the right Turbo.
The "Tip is faster than manual" was a brilliant strategy line used by auto journalists . One year later PDK came out and I'll bet it cleared a lot of parts for Porsche . Hmmmmm.. makes one wonder.

I would NOT get an 07 Gt3 . (as suggested) . The new PDK car will blow it away and have more creature comfort. If the Gt3 is "the one" .. get the 2010 .. but with price it leads into discussing higher cost.

C4S. I prefer high revs over speed.

agreed. Nothing against the tip. I don't care if it's faster or not, I much prefer the 6 speed over tip, PDK, etc.

My biased vote: the low mileage 4S.

All the best in your hunt!
