Storing for a month... Anything needed?

I will be storing the car for about a month basically at a rental storage. Anything I should be aware of? From what I gather reading older posts, it looks like a month isn't long enough to really do anything in terms of prep... Thoughts?

I would disconnect the battery, but other than that a month isn't really that long to worry about it.

I would trickle charge it instead. But even a month in the AZ heat, the battery will probably still be good after 4 weeks of sitting idle.

+1 on the trickle charge. Disconnecting the battery loses any stored settings you may have.

Depending on where it's stored, trickle charge could lead to fires which is why I recommended the disconnect. But if it's well ventilated and in a trusted location, a battery maintainer would be better.

I wouldn't expect someone to use a trickle charger from Radio Slack. A good charger from Porsche or Ctek (who makes the Porsche unit) is excellent and has the probability of causing a fire about as often as the man in the moon appears on the Jay Leno Show.

Last summer I went to Japan for 3.5 weeks and my car started right up with no issues.

Make sure your tires have the right pressure so that you don't flat spot them.

The Porsche battery tender is a must. Suncoast had them. I even use on my non P cars.
