Smile Installed my Carrera Script!

So my plans to modify my car are coming along nicely...I've just installed my new Carrera Script in Orange. Next up is having my side mirrors wrapped in Orange and possibly purchasing OZ Ultraleggra HLT 19" wheels in Orange.

It's 10:30pm here in Dubai so I'll snap some day time photos tomorrow. Kyle from Porsche Stripes www.porschestripes.com sent them out to me quickly and the instructions to install are simple and easy. Thanks Kyle!

Looks interesting, I think the stripes will look better with the mirrors wrapped You should also add aerokit!

I think it looks pretty good! I look forward to seeing the photos after you do the mirrors and wheels. Keep up posted, thanks!

Here are some photos I snapped today but please excuse the dust as we are feeling the effects of the Cyclone hitting the Gulf of Oman....

This mod isn't for everyone but at least it can be peeled off in no time. The mirrors might be done on Saturday and I'm told its a complex wrap. I'm undecided on the color of wheels though...Orange would be perfect but I'm waving on spending $2k to have wheels that are painted Orange. Hmmm...

I would do the mirrors and maybe add an orange accent ring around the rim. Orange wheels I think would be too over the top.

I agree, you want the color to be an accent, not to compete with the color of the car...

^^^ I'm starting to think that way...plus I just can't think of spending that money on Orange wheels. At least if I went with a dark bronze or something and got tired of this orange script I could still go with a classy look.

Clear side markers for Father's Day I believe....

+1 for the mirror wrap. I like the color combo, and honestly, the most recent pic's in the sun makes the contrast look much more subtle. Very unique indeed! I too agree that the wheel color change may end up being a bit overkill. Have you tried to photoshop different wheel colors to your pic's to see? I'd try orange and maybe even black just to see so you at least know where to put your money.

Similar, but obviously much more subtle.

I'm on the fence about these side graphics that Porsche has started bringing back with the 997. In one regard, they resemble the strong racing heritage of the brand and also are a homage to the 70's when these side graphics were also used. On the other hand, to the average person that knows nothing of this, they may see it as a 'riced out' import.

Nonetheless, I give it points for personality.

JetPilot3,
Congrats on making your car unique, personally not a huge fan of the graphics but props to you for the individualization. I think the orange mirrors will complement the new graphics:

but not sure on orange wheels - might be a bit too much....for example only:

as some suggested, a simple timetrial stripe or keep them as is, for example only:

Enjoy your weekend!
