How are the yellows on the street ? I heard they freighten adults and scare small children into crying. I use my 997 C2 30% Street, 30% Autocross and 40% Track. I am thinking about yellow's but it's that 30% Street I'm worried about.

echo, Yellows on the street are very noisy. Right when I come off the track they are quiet but on the way driving home with normal street stopping they get noisy again.

On the S brakes the pads are so easy to swap out...takes about 2 minutes per caliper while changing wheels....I just put the street pads back in.

Also when cold on the street the street pads stop better than the Yellows.

Yes, that's exactly what I was told about the yellow pads. I'm running RE-11's and AD08's as an all/multi purpose tires, 30% street, 30% Autocross and 40% Track. Is there a pad that would do the same ? Pagid Blues or Orange ?

I am curious to the same question. I am running Porterfield R4S's on my 997S right now -- part street/track/autoX car , unwilling to ruin it for the street -- and they seem like the perfect compromise pad (vs. a track pad). What is the Pagid equivalent?

echo, don't do Orange they are the worse for the street. You can use the 4-2-1 pads or try the sport pads however none of them will last at the track like yellows or even blacks.

Search here or on rennlist for some review by myself and RonCT. Ron has drives a 997S like myself and has used various combo's of pads trying to find a good street/track pad.
