wheels thoughts?
Distracting myself from my coolant problems and checking out wheels..
these are VERY tempting..

on the car..

any opinions? I love the forged wheels but at almost the cost of a supercharger kit i can't see spending the money.

Never heard of the brand but those barrel (reverse lip) wheel might pose an issue in the rain . Great for So California.
Another thing -- with wheels I feel it's important to but a safety tested wheel . A pretty wheel may look nice in a photo but if that center breaks .. not pretty anymore.
If you like the dish look, want a light wheel , and great quality .. I like the Hre Competition or the Champion wheels. There are others but those are my favorites.

They are beautiful. Just as nice as the 90s! And they look great on the car!

IMO I would spend money on wheels BEFORE anything else.......and I wouldn't settle.
I personally wouldn't wear rubber boots with a suit,so I wouldn't make my Porsche...sorry couldn't resist,LOL!
Depending on what you do with your car wheels ARE the one of most beneficial mods you can do!
Depending on size and weights......wheels can help performance or visually enhance your car to separate it from the rest .....maybe BOTH!
I have had a ton of luck/compliments with my DPE wheels but they are not cheap BUT also not as expensive as some of the other wheels out there......
GL with your decision.......it IS one of the hardest things to buy!

I agree with Stacy, I either go with OEM or find some well made great looking wheels.
As Larry pointed out, a cheaply made wheel can break and cause extensive damage to your car, and possibly injure you or someone else.
If you do buy them, make sure you get the correct offset for your car.

I like my stock rims. However, if I were going to change I'd go with something lighter and/or something classic. I like the Fuchs, RUFs, Champion or BBS race mesh type. More and more I'm not liking the deep dish look in the rear. Seems old school American muscle to me and looks weird on a Porsche.
