New 991?

I borrowed this image from Rennteam.com. The same magazine said that the new 991 GT3 and GT3RS will "have the GT1 motorsport engine."

The front grille looks at little Audi R8'ish....I am hope Porsche does a GT3 with PDK and I hope that they offer some 6 point harness seats that sit lower and farther back than the current Sport Bucket GT2 seats....and that they allow for the steering wheel to extend farther out towards the driver....Porsche are you listening....tall driver want to be comfortable to with proper driving position.

Looks more like a 997.3 facelift than a new modell.

Autocar's rendering looks pretty accurate, comparing to the winter testing video. The pointed nose (although not my favorite) does help to distract from the headlight's taller position. Still wish the side profile was able to keep the same front end slope we have today.

Assuming a neutral to positive reaction when it hits the market, I wonder what it will do to 997.2 pricing: normal depreciation or accelerated.

That's like saying "why should I learn how to properly drive a sports car when I can pay money for a computer to do it for me." lol

Because it's a lot more fun for normal (i.e., not track) driving and far more involving wih your machine. Driving a PDK/DSG around town is BORING. Sorry guys, but I've got both and it's the truth.

I know what the future holds (see Ferrari) and it's regrettable, especially for younger, less experienced drivers.

After re-reading your post, I realize you're being sarcastic. I think.

the center lock wheels will make all the aftermarket wheel manufacturers happy. none of the current 997 bling will fit the new one.
