Finally, my first Porsche!
Ever since seeing the 993 wide-bodies for the first time about 13~14 years ago, there was something about the wide-body that was more appealing to me than a narrow body 993. I remember back then talking to a dealer about the 993 wide-body C2S and C4S. He basically said a C4S was more 'special' because it had the Turbo's 4wd, brakes, wheels, etc. Not sure how, but this really stuck and I thought a C4S was going to be my first Porsche if I were to buy one.
It was a big "if" since I was just starting a family and my new business at the time was really not making ends meet. It was TOUGH
.
Now fastfoward to present. With LOTS of hard work, perseverance and good fortune, the business flourished and I was finally able to buy a Porsche as a weekend car. By this time, I was like a true Porsche-phile but just did not own one. I knew all the models, all the specs and all the options that were available. Thought about getting a GT3 but I already have a Go-Kart. Turbo was great but I prefer NA.
Man, if I could just decide which model to get!
Well, this 2007 C4S with just 5700 miles became available and I just could not pass it up. It was a CPO, Full Leather, Adaptive Seats, Sport Chrono Plus, 5mm Spacer, Sport Exhaust, Alcantara Steering Wheel, etc. Most of all, it had the Turbo wheels, too!
I will take delivery on Wednesday in Portland, OR and I plan to drive the LONG way home to Belleveu, WA.
Can't wait!

Ps: Sorry about these poor quality iPhone photos. They are not doing any justice to the car!

Congrats!! I fell in love with Pcars back in the early 80's and lusted for one until 3 yrs ago when I grabbed a '07 Cayman S (recently traded in for a '10 C2S cab). Oh the joy of actually having one sitting in your garage - only bettered by an upgrade/update....enjoy you car - it's a beauty!
