Stupid question; sport chrono.

How do you tell if a 997 has the sport chrono package?


My car, bought used, has a chrono but no evidence of any switches other than the "sport" down at the bottom of the center stack.

yeah you got it. You access it through the instrumentation panel control. Also has some laptime info in PCM.

So is there such a thing as having the chrono and not the "sport chrono package" or is having the clock always mean you have the pack?

Clock is part of the Sport Chrono package...as far I know.

You have the Chrono and you have the Sport button. The chrono features are accessible via the OBD stalk and the Sport button engages the performance component - throttle profile and lowered PSM intervention; suspension if you have PASM.
