motul 600 in different colors

hi,

does motul 600 exist in different colors? i have almost transparent yellow now and would like to flush with blue or red to see when new liquid comes. none on web sites who sell motul seem to indicate the color, or am I just not looking wher I`m supposed to look?

that is inconvinient. how much should be drained from each corner to make sure it got new liquid there? on a previous flash i may have used something else as I was replacing blue one.

or may be I should simply choose different brand as current one i have is transparent yellowish?

I take out about 125ml from each bleeder valve, or about 250ml per corner.

i see. so it will be total of 4 bottles for a flush. seems a bit high... i think on a previous flush i spent about of 2 bottles total, 1L.

why do you do 125ml from each bleeder? they are fed from same brake line i think and pistons volume is way less than 125ml, is it not? we need to bleed whole line plus content of a piston, right?

The 125ml (about 4.2 oz) x 8 = 1 litre, which is the typical size of a bottle. Yes this is way more then you have in a piston, but this way you are sure that you have fresh stuff in your system.

I usually use 200ml glass for a drain so I guess if I do 200ml from a corner it should be fine. Well, it is not that difficult, I just have a tendency to ovethink things. plus i have 6 bottles of motul 600 anyway.

I took an old plastic juice container, measured out 125 ml with a measuring cup, poured into the container and then made a line with a sharpie. repeat 8 times. I them drilled a hole that allowed me to feed my drain tube in and keeping it snug (to prevent slashing and spills).
