997.2: why almost nobody with Techart parts ?

I have not seen any 997.2 in this forum with Techart parts

I love most of the cosmetic add ons, except the side skirts, but I see nobody posting here pics of his/her car with such parts

I am thinking of adding some parts to make my car look nicer, although I noted the prices are extremely expensive

Is this the reason for the unpopularity of Techart parts on the 997.2 ?

I do pretty well financially and am grateful for my 997.2 base Carrera...

But as yo pointed out, the Techart goodies are Expen$ive!!!

Folks that can afford a few thousand for tres cool wing, can probably afford a GT3 or Turbo with one on it already...

That's my take anyways.

I like the parts and can easily afford them. However, I cant justify spending that amount of money that I will not be able to recoupe. I have never been one to spend excess money on aftermarket parts on cars. I really would like to change out the rims on my car but I will not allow my self to spend $5K on the rims plus I will need new tires as well.
I do agree, that i do not see many after market parts for the 997.2

Expensive, heavy and doesn't make the car look better IMO. only after market parts I do are rims. Light weight, strong and look better than stock. Helps personalize the car

I have the full Techart kit on my Turbo . The quality is outstanding . The fit and finish is equally amazing . Plus the guys at Techart are extremely knowlegable , professional, and couteous . In my opinion the entire experience to me is first class .

However -- I look at the 997S and feel that compared to the Gt3 aerokit on the actual Gt3 there is nothing which compares . It's not that the Techart is bad --it's that the Gt3 is that good . So i left my car bare . In fact I feel that the 997S is better off left alone with aerokits in general .
Note -- this is simply my opinion .

In fact when it came to the Turbo --there is no other aerokit I would have wanted except the Techart . I also feel that way with the Cayenne Turbo (former Magnum) , Panamera turbo too in which I also love the Techart.

In fact across the board I view the Techart as the ideal Turbo setup .

There are many options for the 997.2 which may be the reason. Price is another factor. We offer many parts for the 997.2. Please take a look at our website. The prices and quality cannot be beat. All of the parts are manufactured here in the US to the highest standards. PM me for pricing.

Same answer as on other forum this was posted on. Why mess with a perfectly not looking car by adding glue-on parts?

I left my car stock

because I really like the look. I like the GT3 OEM kit, but I don't think it would fit how I use my car. My car is my DD so i really like the sporty but classy look and I think the GT3 kit or other kits make the car look more bad *** and racerish. If this was my weekend car I would be all about that look, but as a DD, I want to fly under the radar

As others have said, the OEM GT3 kit is hard to beat, what i'm planning to do is put on the TT lid and tail, but you have others to choose from such as Misha, GT3TEK are a couple of good ones, as far as wheels go sure you can change em out. But for my taster the OEM Turbo rims are the nicest, They are as lightweight as you need them, for those that go aftermarket on wheels trying to save weight, whats the point if you don't track your car....
