Powdercoating calipers RFI

I know.. don't go there.. I've searched.. I can't find an answer to my question..

For those who've PC'd their calipers, are you powdercoating the calipers, installing the PORSCHE decals, then re-powdercoating them in clear? The reason I ask is that I'm curious as to what 20 minutes at 385 degrees will do to the decals (I know the calipers gotta get hot during 'spirited' drives, so maybe heat isn't a factor).

I have a buddy who owns a PC shop.. I'm seriously considering coating the calipers on my 'base' Carrera. I want to make sure they'r 'right'..

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I had a my 6 pots powdercoated with the decals and the result is amazing. G2 Caliper paint DIY is ok, but the finish (and colour match) is nowhere near as good as a powder coat
20 mins in the oven is nothing compared to what they'll get on the track so dont worry about the decals.. otherwise ask if they have a spray on template for the logo.

Something to think about....

Why doesn't Brembo PC their calipers?

Layering on a thick gob of PC won't help when you're trying to vent heat....

We don't PC calipers......

Good Luck either way,

-Eli

1 time at the track and those stickers will turn light brown and then a dark burnt brown. Trust me been there twice with this. The Porsche logo from the factory is actually paint not a sticker. I even tried some so called high-temp stickers too.

I suppose my best option is to find a set of "S" calipers.
