Escort 8500, Uniden Bearcat BCT scanner and sharp eyes.
Here's the hot setup. I get an alarm within 3 miles of a COP using a mobile expander!
Scanner is only usable when you're really paying attention, ie. when you're really flying.
Escort is great and can function similiarly to the V1 in expert mode. V1 is good though. Don't even think about the rest.
Nothing beats a sharp eye!

ok cmon now everyone has a different opinion....
I will proboly look more into the v1 but i hate ordering things off the net can i buy the escort 8500 at my local FUTURESHOP or any other fine retailer?
And it looks as though even those radars wont be able to save you sometimes so is there a point to getting one?
also whast the difference between laser and the regualr gun?
