ScottAtlGa is infamous around these parts
Yes I was mainly referring to the relatively 'cheap' look alike/exact copies we are now seeing coming from China, not alternative wheels form companies like BBS. I have no issue with those, just wondering what we are giving up with the cheapos coming from China, probably invisable features like safety and reliability. I saw online recently a Chinese mfr that would sell Turbo ll's for something like $50/wheel but min order qty was 50 sets. I recently bought a set of OEM 997 wheels from a guy that took them off his car and I paid him more than the knock-offs on ebay. I prefer them mainly because if P is going to put them on the car, they have done all the quality checks for me! Just wondering when or if these ultra cheap wheels will backfire on a driver and get someone hurt or killed...

+ I'm sure they have a good inventory of "take-offs", not "knock-offs".

Here's a set:

Wheels

Not the standard finish, but they look nice.
