Powder Coating color?

I just bought some 19" Oz's for tracking and want to powder coat them.
The local fellow only had one red color but can order a color for me.
Does anyone know the correct RAL Color to exactly match the Red Brake Calipers.
Thanks in Advance

I may be wrong but, doesnt Powder coating weaken the overall integrity of wheels? may be ok for street use but for tracking?

thread is here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...pros-cons.html

you're baking the wheels in an oven to melt the powder so it's possible to ruin the heat treatment of the aluminum.

away is infamous around these parts
I'd just go the standard painting route vs power coating if your set on changing the color. Probably cheaper too and in the end, they're just track wheels.

Lockie, there are a few companies in the lower mainland that specialize in wheel repainting, you may want to ship them to them. Might be a better deal.

Thanks Ed, there is an amazing paint shop in Victoria. They specialize in 1 M restorations. Did a few cars for J Leno and even Trudeau's 300 SL. They have agreed to do them for me. Funny this was the wheel you advised me to buy over a year ago.
Thanks for the comments.
Maybe see you in Seattle sometime.

I am glad you finally got around to getting the track wheels. I haven't done Seattle in a while. I only ran at ORP last season...awesome track, you really need to try that one out.
