Great maps, easy to use, love the touch screen

Whats to complain about?
I don't need the Nav . For starters I would never take my Porsche to a place where I might get lost and if i had to I would have looked it up on google maps the day before from the comfort of my home . Beyond that the Porsche Nav back in 2007 was not even as good as my 07 Honda . In fact -if technology is a must have the Japanese cars are so advanced that it can practically cook dinner and drive home buy itself.

I bought a Porsche because of how it drives . I don't want to look at a computer screen . I just don't need it , never use it , and paid extra for it only because it was already on the car on the lot.

Jungwook is infamous around these parts
P-cars especially their flagship models were always more technologically advanced than the rest... isn't this why we're all in it? Isn't this why our hearts pumped like teanagers when we all saw the youtube fling on the 918 RSR or the older one on the 997.2 Turbo? ... is what I started to write but realized that the question is more profound...

I think we're all at the mercy of what will turn out to be the 991 and we're all very exited!.

I started with a 996 c2 cab and now have a 997.1 turbo. Both manual. The 997 is easier to drive, but not necessarily more fun. I miss 996 getting a little squirrely in the front end when I pushed it hard. Don't miss the body flex. Do miss the sense of driving a small car (the 997 seems much larger). And I miss the concentration - you HAD to keep the revs above 5000 if you were driving hard. The turbo isnt as demanding to drive.

I think the 991 will continue the trend of being less demanding to drive. I predict it will make the driver feel more insulated and it will have plenty of boy-racer doodads to dwell over while ordering. I'll probably wait - and decide after a few years if this ends up moving me to another brand. What I'm looking for is in the minority of what moat drivers are looking for, so I think Porsche will be successful.
