Indoor car care advice

Looking for a good indoor cover for occasional use. Does anyone know the differeance between these two? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

In my experience, the Porsche covers aren't very good.

I've had this and found it to be very nice:

I don't think there are less expensive sources than Griots for the same cover if you poke around a bit.

I was actually looking for an indoor cover as well. Something light and satin like to simply keep the dust off during the winter months.

That Griots one still looks fairly "weighty".

It's actually not too weighty - think spandex / lycra and you pretty much have it.

I think I can provide some good feedback here.

I have a Griots outdoor cover for my E36 M3 and its very nice.

I have the Porsche indoor cover for my 997 and its a fantastic product.

Both are nice but I think the Porsche cover is nicer.

Check out this link. Everything from indoor to the extreme outdoor covers. I have a Noah which comes with a 5 year warranty. My GTO has had an Evolution on it for almost 5 years and it still is holding up well!

Weird - I had the opposite experience (Griots cover was much nicer), but my Porsche cover was vintage 2002 and for a 996. Sounds like the design / material improved.

Both the indoor Porsche cover and the Griots look nice, albeit pricey.(!)

I guess I just had in my head something less form fitting. Almost like a satin sheet to simply drape over the car.

if you're not concerned with aesthetics (and you're parking the car indoors) then 2 x 500 count california king size bed sheets. For me, car covers have always been cumbersome --- the weight of the large sheets keeps them in place and they are super easy to clean.
