I need to take my baby in for her first oil change. Who should I go to in the Temecula/riverside area?

Not a lot of independent shops in the area. There's Walter's in Riverside, the only dealer in the area. I've bought several cars there, had all service done there, and have had only a few minor complaints in the last six years. All of my cars have gone to the dealer because they're under warranty and I want to ensure warranty coverage without any hassles. Walter's replaced my year-old PDK transmission in C2S without any problems.

If you're looking for an independent shop, one with a good reputation is in Montclair, 911 design. If you're willing to drive a bit further, Orange County is full of great shops. GMG, Hergesheimer, and several others.

Walter's is charging $250 for an oil change. Is this the going rate at a dealership??

Dont know what other dealers charge, but my experience with Walters has only been good. My closest dealer is ten minutes away but I drive an hour to go to Walters.

I think walter's will offer a discounted rate for PCA members....around 80 dollars?? They always treat you right when you mention you are a PCA member. I agree with the other poster....I like 911design in Montclair. They know their stuff and steer you in the right direction when it comes to mods.

Has anyone used Specialized Mercedes off the 91 and Arlington in the new LA Fit center? Yes I know it says Mercedes but I pass by there everyday near my work and occasional P cars in there and a few exotics, also Porsche emblem in window ( like they support it).

Its at www.specializedmercedes.com

It would be convenient for me for little work if I got any type of feedback on em..

Just paid $670 at NB for a 20K service on my GTS, if I remember correctly the oli change is $250, see if you can use your $100 coupon sent over the holidays. Riverside should be cheaper compared to NB
