I have had the AWE 200 CATS on the car for about 5K and a year w/o CELs and it passed smog inspection in NJ.

I am thinking of adding the fabspeed 200 cell cats to my car.
Is there some obvious power/torque improvement or is it more the increase in sound.
Any comments would be helpful.

I have never dyno'd my car, but I felt the addition of the cats created a performance improvement.

 

I think the most significant increase in power/torque was from 4k and above. The car felt turbo boosted and really just picked up from there.

 

I agree. At higher RPM's the car "feels" as if it pulls a little harder.

 

Damn it... I just may have to get a set of cats now. Thanks guys...

 

Hey 911 Molar and DirtyVegas, the Sport cats will make more of HP and TQ Improvement over the sound difference depending on your muffler setup. I went with Fabspeed......no regrets

 

I added awe cats not being satisfied with just the pse. The difference is well worth it. After about a year I wanted more sound so I added x50 headers which made it even more deeper. The coupe de gras is the remote from carnewal. Freaks people out when I show them I can change the tone outside the car.

 

simply do it.
Best mod I've done hands down.
sound, bhp improvement, did i mention sound
intoxicating....
