I know of a product that will take care of your peeling problem.
It is made by 3M it is called VHB Tape (Very High Bond)
I own a Architectural Sheet Metal Shop we fabricate and install Alum Composite Panels we use this stuff on daily basis it is great. I actually have metal panels that are only installed using this product. You can get from RS Hughes just goggle. You would not believe the tapes that 3M makes to bond almost anything. Just make sure surface is clean and dry. Once you stick it will not come off. Works with heat moisture etc. Great Stuff. It is not super sticky so you can work your material into place. You may have to tape it down with masking tape for a 24 hour period. To allow tape to cure out. Once its cure its done tape is super thin so you will not have to worry about excessive build up of material .

Good Luck

VHB is good stuff. Keep in mind it is a pressure sensitive adhesive. So the part of the quality of the bond is determined by how hard you press it into place. Also as stated above surface prep is extremely important with all adhesives.

Another note on carbon fiber. As many have noted they are decorative pieces, not structural. And that's why they are thin and flimsy. If they were designed to be structural, Porsche would have had to redesign the entire interior and go through the whole safety process and it would have cost a whole lot more.

I wouldn't at all consider that a production malfunction. The fabric has to meet some where. I feel like its too hard to explain. Just think of it as like trying to take a piece of paper and fit it into the shape of a mirror.

As someone mentioned, its on intended to be pretty. If that was painted you would never know and it would be just as strong. To the weave to line up on that curved and concaved of a piece would be almost impossible to do. I know this first hand because I've done one before.

It just needed a place for the to fabrics to meet and I think the fabricator choose that spot because you cant see it if you are walking around the car.

idk

Another thing that i would say relating to your post is that when i claimed porsche because the CF parts were getting off they said they would stick them again, as i am not a CF expert, when i collected the car it looked ok. That is why i agreed to sign the car paper back, i mean, it is not my job to know technically how CF works, now i know that because i have this problem but when i leave the car to a PC i expect to get it repaired/serviced perfectly, thats what i pay for.

In Spain they are oblied to give two year warranty for the repaired parts and since the last repair regarding to the CF was done back in 2009 i am using this trying to get it repaired again but they played bad because in the form they just wrote: Review of the CF complements. They didn't write repairment or something similar... i couldn't expect this to happen as i am not an expert in this kind of materials.

Maybe i played a noob part but i couldn't expect this from a brand as Porsche, i hope you all agree with me, and probably i could have done more in the back but they glued it and it looked ok until one year or so later that suddenly it become worst.

I know they are a company and they are supposed to keep care of themselves, but me, as a customer i don't think i desire this treatment.

If you want i can show you the mail we had between porsche and me where they directly refused to help me or even consider helping.

Thanks!
I see that you read my post. I deleted it because i felt it didn't help to point out all the things you might have done differently so that you didn't end up where you are now .. (warpred carbon , no help from Porsche , no warranty) . I deleted it because rather than pick apart why all parties (plus the quality of the parts) somehow missed expectations .. it doesn't solve what to do now.

It sounds as though you want to just replace it with aftermarket and move on . It isn't what i would choose to do but I also realize that all the things you did to this point isn't the same as what i would have chosen . I know in my heart that that I would never be satisfied with glued on parts.

Most of all .. I read the thread and want you to have happiness . I do think that theres probably a lot of guys who are already trying to sell you on how great their products and if that's so .. just make sure that you don't get screwed a second time.

I do hope it works out for you .

Actually my final chose will be to wait and keep doing pressure on Porsche service because i also want to solve first the intermediate shaft problem. My aim will be to keep going on complaining and hopefully agree with Porsche to get a deal.

And of course yes lots of companied are trying to sell their CF components and i dunnow probably their quality is awesome but i just feel as i need to keep going with the complain. I have the right to drive my car everywhere without considering the temperature or such stupid things.

I liked your point of view of the post dont worry. Actually i didnt see you deleted it sorry about that.

Thanks!
