Question wait for 991 or get 997.2 PDK?

We all know it's coming out! It's gonna have exterior change, interior change, wider, longer, HP bump, keyless, new gadgets, lastly where will the engine be sitting at? When will we able to get the 991?

I have been through Cayman S, 997.1 C2, and now a 997.1 TT. I am not sure if I will be happy with 385hp drop, PDK, PCM 3.0, and head/rear lights changed. I am thinking if I should save up for the 991. If I get the PDK C2S/C4S now, I know the 991 is coming out real soon!

if you're planning on buying brand new i'd wait.. if not, then you might be able to find a used 997.2 PDK by now and save yourself some money.

This all depends on the amount of money you are looking to spend...and why you want to switch in the first place.

Get a 997.2. That way you will have an excuse to buy the 991. That is my plan anyway.

I am kinda sick of driving a stick in Taiwan's beautiful traffics. I cannot afford a PDK turbo. There aren't many used 997.2 C2S/C4S. Or they are pretty damn pricey still.

That is funny, IIRC you were tired of the automatic transmission and even talked about converting your tip to a manual.

I would wait, it is just around the corner....you just have to get through a few more traffic jams

If you dont have the money for a used 997.2 C2S/C4S then you also wont have enough money for a new 991. But yet you had the money for a 997.1 Turbo which could not have been cheap. You confuse me.

There aren't many used 997.2 here locally. What I meant is to save up for the 991 is a wiser choice. We will see 991 soon I guess it's pointless for me to buy a new 997.2 now.

I suggest you wait. Since you have a nice enough car to drive rite now

When the one one comes out, that's when you can make the right decision.

My warranty runs out in Feb 2012...at that point my 997.1 will have about 42k miles. I might go on the hunt for a 2010 Targa 4S or a C2S, but then again...you never know what can happen.
