What Wheel Spacers Do I Need.

My B-day is coming up and for my gift to myself I'm buying a Valentine 1 and was also thinking about some wheel spacers... Front & Rear. I'd like to push them out for a more aggressive stance.

I have the Carrera Classic wheels (pictured in my avatar) on my 997 C2S.

What time size do I need? 5mm up front and 17mm in the rear?

johnstoy is infamous around these parts
Seems pretty common for people to go with 7mm front and 15 or 17mm in back. Even the factory ones are 6mm all round.
I just got a set of H&R 7mm front 15mm rear from Damon at Tirerack (a sponsor here. He probably has 17s too). He keeps them in stock and had them to me the same week I ordered them - including going through customs into Canada. Nice service.
You have to contact him directly: Tirerack doesn't show them on the website.
The H&Rs come with the properly longer wheel bolts.

I have 5 & 17mm on my 09 911 S. Very happy with the new look and I'm running 305's on the rear. Mine came with longer bolts, definitely needed.

I'm thinking of installing spacers soon as well but do you need to have an alignment after installation?

RSS are good. Those are the one's I just installed. Nice & and they're available in black with black bolts if you have dark wheels.

Very happy.

I'd love to drop the car a bit but I scrape more than enough at stock height as it is.

RSS Wheel Spacers

Thank you for your interest in RSS Products. Since you are in the Bay Area, I would suggest that you contact the Premier RSS Northern California Dealer SHARKWERKS (Alex or Dan) as they usually have them in stock.

Feel free to contact us directly if you have any other questions!

JonasJordan1,

We have a number of Canadian tuning shops that carry our spacer kits. Our Canadian Distributor Sports Car Boutique should be able to take care of you or point you at your closest retailer. You can reach them at 905.731.0700 or feel free to contact us directly and we will assist you. Thanks. B

I did the Rennline stud conversion and it is soo much nicer then lug bolts!!! I use the 6mm fronts and 13mm rears which seems perfect for the Carrera Classics. The stud conversion will let you run up to 15mm spacers with zero issues.
