Bump Stops on Damptronics

I had a set of Damptronics installed on my 09 C2S two days ago. The rears have the bump rubbers installed but there are none on the fronts. Has anyone else had the same experience? It also didn't look like the stock ones from the factory damptronics would fit. Everything else went fine including the infamous tapered washer.

With Tarett front camber plates I was able to get -2.5 camber in front with a 20mm drop.

So you have no bump stops in the front? Damptronics should have them under the plastic boot.

Jason,

Thanks for the reply. The stock front bump stops were not transferred to the damptronics. It didn't look like they would fit under the blue boots on the front.

I'll check the stock fronts again tomorrow.

The bump stops should already be there from Bilstein. I have owned a couple sets and I am pretty sure this is how they come.

Jason,

I called Bilstein USA today and I was told that the Damptronic struts do not come with external bump stops. They said that the bump stops were internal on the struts and external on the shocks.

I'm confident that you know what you are talking about from your own personal experience. I'm just hoping that there has been a change/redesign on the new struts. This doesn't leave me with a warm feeling.

Alan,

I would just check the struts. You should be able to feel them under the blue boots and see them on the rear. If not then you might have an issue.
