New Arrival
New Arrival
Went to a well known dealer in Florida, checkbook in hand to purchase a new C2S. Nothing in stock that I really cared for so I asked the salesman to search existing inventory or submit a build request. After numerous calls and emails no reply or a hint of interest in helping me out.
After being totally frustrated with the salesman and dealer, contacted another dealer in NC who has sold numerous cars to a friend of mine.
He strongly suggested against a new car and proposed a good CPO that I could enjoy for a few years until the new 991's are out and proven. Sounded like a reasonable plan and settled on a nice 2009 C2S Midnight Blue CPO. Deal was done in 15 minutes without even looking at the car, wired the money and the dealer arranged the transportation.
Car arrived last week and I could not be happier.
Need a detailing kit from Moe and I am ready to go.
Lesson learned.........always take a potential buyer serious.

Anyways, congrats on your purchased, it looks mint.
World of difference between both salesmen and dealerships. End of the day the dealer I bought the car from sent the other a thank you note for the referral.
I totally agree with you with "don't judge a book by it's cover." A lot of sales person just under estimate every person who went to their showroom.
Love the black dash with sand interior .I can't tell you how much I hate the reflection from the sand colored dash.

Congratulations on a gorgeous car !
The first salesman sounds like a typical used car salesman.. from the 80's..
an era when the car salesman were taught to push what's on the lot.
Welcome to 2011.
i'd continue to stay away from the 1st dealership (sales, service, parts) since bad cutomer service starts from the management/owner.
Again, congrats.. and enjoy !
