Side skirts look funny?

I want to upgrade my 997.1 C4S in stages. I am wondering if I upgrade and add side skirts first before a new front bumper will it look OK?

I say wait until you can do it all at once. One trip to the body shop for paint and install and you are done.....
Might even save a bit of $$$ painting all the items at once rather than doing it twice!

Cheers,

Stacy

do it only if u want to hasten those stages..

having a sideskirt without an aggressive front will not look right.

how do i know ? that's the stage my car is at..

Yeah, when I bought my car from the original owner, he did the front and rear bumper but not the side skirts yet. That was going to be his next move. I added the side skirts as I felt that it helped balance out the front and rear. Agree with above posters, no side without front first.

As a reference, I have just the aerokit front bumper, as I think many others have as well. My car is lowered, and I think the rake is similar to stock, which has the front slightly lower than the rear. I may change that the next chance I get. Anyway - as it is now - it looks a bit odd from the side. I think a a GT3 read bumper will help, and I'll probably do side skirts as well.
As bad as it looks, I think I'm the only one who notices, but I think having only the side skirts would be more noticeable.

Yea, Im always painting something. this was the first project. I wanted all the trim to be painted, It is a costly option from porsche. And it makes the car look more finished. I took everything off one day, preped it the next day and painted it the next. I also have done the mirror triangle mounts. That was a whole day trying to disassemble the mirrors, then a day to prep and paint. Alot of work for 2 little parts.
