Sitting outside of my Starbucks this red Beetle parked up next to me. I thought it was a neat little picture. My car looks quite scaled down in relation to the VW's size.

 

it will look less scaled down when the new beetle arrives soon. saw one at the new york auto show this weekend and the 911 resemblance was downright creepy!

Haha, I always keep a vigilant eye while reading my mag. It is distracting though!

 

I've learned my lesson about parking. I've already spotted a door ding right at my passenger side door hinge area. This is the worst spot for door dings because the tool that those fix-a-dent guys use wont get to the ding from the inside of the door.

I'll have to take it to the Auto Body shop to make the repairs.

Well, Volkswagen must be suffering from insignia envy based on the size of that front logo compared to the obviously confident-sized Porsche shield.

 

Very cute, I was also thinking it would be a little different with the new one coming out that has been significantly flattened.

 

Really cool pics. Reminded me of when I walked out of the grocery store and find a teen aged guy pulling up to park next to my 911. He's in a pretty well restored '74 Beetle and I can tell he's really proud of it. It looked great and since he's eyeing my car, I started up some conversation. Great kid, lots of respect for cars. Pretty cool. The funny part was his clear display of pride in his car because to park next to me meant he had to drive waaaaaay out to the end of the lot where I was the only one. Tons of parking spots everywhere, not a single car around me, but he felt most comfortable parking his Gold/Brown '74 Beetle next to my 911. All in the family, I guess.
