I just got a pair of leds from a 07 c2s now im looking at the bak of the tail lights and there are 4 what look like bottoms to a bulb but got wires running from them the DIY video i just watched the guy just connected one wire weird any ideas guys?? I hope these work on my 06 c2s

 

What product did you buy? The video is for Dectane.

Here are some comparison pics of the OEM vs Dectane taillights installed. I would do it again and highly recommend them!

 

it is really amazing how this little taillight mod renders the rear of the 997.1 closer to the 997.2/991 theme and away from the 996 theme.

 

These tail lights are bad ***. It's amazing how just replacing them with updated units make the rear look so much better!

I can't wait till I get mine (4-5 weeks).

 

anybody getting error codes with resistors installed? installed a pair in a 2005 and the right light is showing error code for signal and brake? both sets of resistors are installed.

Saw this item on eBay. Guy says they are made by Depo! Do you think they are the dectane lights? He says ships from USA, in my case it will help because i'm from Canada and don't feel like paying over 100$ in duties if ordered from Germany. Let me know what you guys think, in e meantime I contacted seller to see what he says. I'll keep you posted. Oh and price is good

They look like the Dectane product. Don't forget there's a vendor in Vancouver selling similar LED taillights.

 

They are the smoked version of the ones we got from Orange Tuning. One thing I would ask before purchasing would be if there are resistors included. When looking at the pictures, I see the plugs for the resistor but I don't actually see the resistor pack attached to the light housing.

That's the only concern I would have.

 

What does the resistor pack look like?
