Saw this item on eBay. Guy says they are made by Depo! Do you think they are the dectane lights? He says ships from USA, in my case it will help because i'm from Canada and don't feel like paying over 100$ in duties if ordered from Germany. Let me know what you guys think, in e meantime I contacted seller to see what he says. I'll keep you posted. Oh and price is good

No, this is made by DEPO. DEPO brand. Plug and Play and no error and no modification. We ship from California USA.

Installed and getting 'check left brake light'
When folks are saying error codes, is this what you mean?
Power is going to it - they do light up, the signal and fog work,
however i have had intermittent problems with the brake light:
sometimes it gets bright when brake applied other times only the right gets
bright. I did not install the resistor. Any thoughts? Emailed Frank and just waiting to hear back from him, thanks.

is it normal for the dectane lights to only light up partially during braking? i noticed the rottec lights up like the 997.2's.... anyone have pictures of their dectane lights with the brakes applied?

You may one of the earlier Rottec-like lighting assembly where they had to either remove the fog bulb to avoid the error msg, or replace it with another bulb. Contact Ray for a fix, or you can search one of his earlier thread about the rear LED taillights.
