Saying Goodbye for now....
Hi Guys,
I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all of you. Thanks for all the great advice and information you all take the time to post on this forum. I recently made a deposit on a new Audi R8 and decided to sell my 997. I do plan to continue to frequent this forum and I do plan to be back in a P-Car sometime in the future, but it's bye bye for now.
I listed my 997 on cars.com and a couple of other sites and amazingly it sold within 2 weeks. So, now I'm sports-car-less for a couple of months. I'll keep reading 6speed and living vicarously through you guys.
Soon I'll be listing a bunch of goodies for sale that I picked up along the way, here's a sampling, Denison Gateway with Bluetooth module still new in the box, clear side markers, color center caps, 997 C4S exhaust tips with FVD adapter so they seamlessly fit a base 997, Mobil 1 Oil Bag, an almost perfect set of Porsche 19" lobster fork wheels with Pirelli PZero Tires (rears only have about 500 miles on them), a brand new Das Schild frunk protector with a custom Porsche Logo, and a bunch of other stuff too. Anyway, I'll post those over in the for sale forum by weeks end.
Again, it's been a blast hearing your stories, reading about your experiences, and being a part of the great camraderie here. Thanks!

Manual or Rtronic ?
I'm getting the manual.
Here's the list of options I chose:
Jet Blue with Tuscan Brown Interior
Carbon Fiber Sideblades
MMI Nav/B&O Stereo
19" Five Arm Double Spoke Wheels (custom painted in exterior color with brushed lip and inner rim)
Illuminated Door Sill Inserts
Alcantara Headliner
Perforated Multi-Function Steering Wheel
Enhanced Leather Package
I think there may be one or two other things that my wife asked me to add when we went to order it, they were small cosmetic things though.
