Thanks for the kind words. I wasn't really looking for the Black Edition but I loved the car when I saw it. Options were just about exactly what I wanted.

Great car! Welcome to the forum as well. I have a question, what is black edition? Anything special about the car?

 

Marketing by Porsche. A few options come standard (Bose, turbo II wheels, etc) with a lower price than selecting the same options on a Carrera. 1911 made for the world. If you like a black on black car, it's a decent package.

 

Which engine does the black edition have? Looking at your brakes (it's not red), it appears you have the base model engine (345hp)?

 

The 997.2 black edition comes as base or base cab. The cayman's black edition comes only as S.
