Adjust 997.1 C2S Stock Tips

Team - Although both sides are symmetrical, I don't care for the gap (~ 1") between the bottom of my rear bumper cutouts and the exhaust tips. Again, my ride is bone stock. I'd like to sink them in deeper for obvious reason. I see a bolt on each but I'm not sure if it's there to provide an adjustment point or simple the mounting point. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just loosen and adjust to taste. You might need a rubber mallet and spray some WD40 prior to adjusting the tips.

If they are perfectly symmetrical and fixed to stock specifications, I'd leave them. It's very difficult to get them both symmetrical after you start playing with them. I wasn't sure what you meant by sinking them in deeper - do you mean pulling the tips up to be higher off the ground and more flush with the bumper? Just be careful not to put them too close - they will move slightly with engine RPM and if touching, can melt the bumper or turn it black with soot over time if the tips don't stick out far enough.

I'm thinking he means to push them in toward the muffler a bit so they are flush with the bumper in a horizontal direction.

Should be able to be done if there is enough room before the exhaust pipe bends.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I appreciate the input...

I mean that I don't care for the gap between the tips and the bumper vertically. They are flush with the bumper from a depth perspective. Here's a pic.

yes, you can adjust them. i've mine set on an upward slant. just loosen the bolt underneath and slip/slide accordingly.
