997.2 Exhaust Tips Options

I have decided to go with the Tubi cat-back exhaust for my 997.2 C4, problem is, it does not fit the stock non-S tips.

I actually like the look of the stock ones and was planning to ceramic coat them black. How hard would it be to make them fit an aftermarket exhaust?

Another obvious option is to get new tips. I like the look of both Techart tips and Tubi's reverse-rolled twin tips.

With the Techart tips, we know they look great on a 911 but I'm afraid they may have been "played out"? Then again, they are unique exhaust tips that only work on a Porsche.

I couldn't find any pictures of the Tubi tips installed on a 997.2. I like idea of "reverse-rolled outer edge creating unique look that is a departure from the norm (traditional slash cut or baffled tip)".

What other options would you recommend? Suggestions and comments are welcome!

Cheers

Does anyone know if the aftermarket tips stick out past the bumper, or if they can be mounted flush (particularly the AWE's, Fabspeeds, and EVOMS)

Has anyone tried fitting stock non-S tips on an aftermarket exhaust?

If you like the factory tips you could just get them jet-hot coated? I do like the TechArt and Tubi tips more myself but it'd be a lot cheaper to keep what you have if you like them and just get them done in black?

I'm on the fence with those TechArt tips personally, I think it's because asymmetrical objects drive me nuts. I really like the AWE black tips, those are probably what I will go with in the near future.

You have mail.

You might also check Fabspeed's tips, which are expensive, but very nice quality stuff. Similar in design to AWE's tips.
