WOW Chuck the administrator shut my thread down!! WHY???
So I post how annoying these ads/videos that are not related to Porsche brand or sports cars on the forum are and Chuck the administrator just closed the thread!!!????
Why?? Let's see how other forum members feel about it!!
Btw it takes VERY little money to maintain a forum like this. It is a cookie cutter!
I will call Internet Brands tomorrow and complain about your censorship!

You do realize that lots of ad supported sites scan your computers cookies and serve ads to you based on the cookies in your computer.
So it is highly possible the adds that don't refer to your interests could be from stuff you're looking at (or anyone else who uses your computer) while not on 6speed.
But as for censorship of your post. I agree, that's lame.

I agree, but diabetes ads in my face? Hmmm no cookies on my computer will trigger it. Wait... I am over 40.. lol
I will not tolerate any censorship on a site like this!
Censorship is the suppression of speech or other public communication which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or inconvenient to the general body of people as determined by a government, media outlet, or other controlling body.
Now go back and try to post a reply to my censored thread.

Just a suggestion, but maybe a PM to Chuck as opposed to a whole new thread on why your previous thread was removed? Maybe it was moved to another section???
My bad, it wasn't moved it was locked. With an explaination from Chuck.

OP: Some people take this internet thing Very, VERY seriously!! BTW, IB are the WRONG people to complain to. They switched Audiworld at it's peak to a whole new format nobody wanted which begat quattroworld literally the same day in the old audiworld format.

I believe a private forum can remove or edit any post which they deem objectionable .
Even this thread could be deemed off topic or disruptive .
Also please read .. see underlined part ..

" Respect Your Fellow Member
6speed allows all members to participate in a enthusiastic forum. As such, please post and comment respectfully to fellow members. This applies to both vendor/sponsors and members alike. We invite and encourage a healthy exchange of opinions; disagreements are okay. While you may challenge another member's position with a dissenting opinion, name-calling, insults, "flaming" and attacks are not appropriate and will not be tolerated"

I have to agree that a private forum can do whatever it wants, including showing ads and shutting down threads.
For example, I posted several polls and they wound up being moved to a separate section. I don't agree with that decision, but I recognize that the decision isn't mine to make.
My suggestion is to let it go and enjoy continuing to participate in the forum. Even with some "censorship" it's still a great resource.
